Leaving the confines of Nottingham behind, Just the Tonic is returning to the London stage with a series of high profile spring shows which look certain to add is bit of risque humour to a late Saturday night. The comedy club, which has already seen the likes of Jimmy Carr, Daniel Kitson and Ricky Gervais tread the well worn boards over the years, is fast becoming one of the UK's biggest comedy nights. Building on the success of last year's run at Tufnell’s in Tufnell park, the club has moved onwards and upwards to the grandiose surroundings of the Leicester Square Theatre in what promises to be a late-night weekend show bonanza. The inaugural night on Saturday saw Tim Vine headline with his plethora of well versed jokes and pen-behind-the-ear extravaganza while Josie Long reminded everyone of her special presence on stage, fleeting in her own unique style between sketches explaining she studies maths for fun and hiding behind the DJ desk to give a rendition of murdering war women. The new permanent fixture in the heart of London will see the likes of Noel Fielding, Phil Kay, Chris Addison and Dave Gorman take to the stage and, as Nottingham’s renowned comedy night moves south for a spring break, Such Small Portions will be on hand each weekend to record the nights shenanigans for the viewing public. Venue: Leicester Square Theatre The full line up is as follows: MAY 30th JUNE 6th JUNE 13th JUNE 20th JUNE 27th JULY 4th JULY 11th
