Colin Hoult, vile brides and Brett Domino(ish): the week in video

Anna Morris as bride
Printer-friendly version

We've got some big features lined up for tomorrow so a day early, here's the week in video...

Lee, Gooding Jr, rest of comedy/acting world, laughing a lot

Get a goosey gander of this highlights reel from GQ comedy supremo James Mullinger's webisode series on Comedy Central. It features a lot of comedians - Stewart Lee, Greg Davies, Simon Pegg, Jerry Ruddy Seinfeld, Rufus Hound, Jackie Mason - and actor-y sorts - Michael Fassbender, Cuba Gooding Jr talking about doing a black Benny Hill, Cameron Diaz - discussing comedy and 'things', and laughing a lot. Whenever we interview people we always set out with the intention of making them laugh, and then accidentally turn it into a therapy session. YOU WIN, MULLINGER.

You will find it over here....

Filling 2012's surprising dearth of football songs

Half of sketch group Unexpected Items have recorded a Euro 2012 song. Score Some Girls doesn't feature Keith Allen eating curry or references to Nobby Stiles, although it does sort of contain John Barnes having a rap. What it lacks in production values, it sure makes up for with FOOTBALLING HEART.

Bridezillah

Anna Morris has started a video series about Britain's vilest bride. All well and good but ONE CLEAR PROBLEM: Don't Tell The Bride happened, and so we know there are far worse out there. Second video tomorrow, so I guess we'll see if there's a ratcheting up...

Costume budget: LARGE

Colin Hoult is Anna Mann, an ageing starlet with a lot to say about Turkish Delight.

It's still Kevin Eldon

Kevin Eldon's new show (did we mention that Kevin Eldon has a new show) doesn't air until next year, but the BBC have already released a clip. We can't post BBC videos because of 'something technical', so here's an old sketch of Kevin Eldon and Sally Phillips playing a couple back in the nineties.

Long and Large

And if you didn't see Chris Moyles' surprisingly well-picked Comedy Empire on BBC Three this week, you should watch this clip for the sheer surreality of 'Moylesy' introducing Josie Long to the stage.
