Incoming: Brennan Reece gets on well with bikers

The next of the Lunchtime Special crowd lets us know what to expect...
The lunchtime comedy showcase schedule is increasingly packed, but our eye was caught by the line-up at The Tron for Lunchtime Special. We've heard from a few of the people involved - and you can see them live at 12.30pm throughout the Fringe (apart from the 13th, OBVS).
THE LUNCHTIME SPECIAL: Fern Brady | Laura Lexx | Brennan Reece | Kate Lucas | Steve Bugeja | Pierre Novellie
What brought you into comedy?
I just wanted to do it once as a thing to do and then never do it again. But I enjoyed the first one, so kept it up.
Describe your act in five words.
Ok, my face tells jokes.
What's been the best reaction you've had to your comedy?
I played a biker rally in Yorkshire where there were 3000 bearded blokes and me...in a yellow t shirt with dogs on it. I almost got in my car and left. Turns out biker people are lovely!
Who's your biggest fan?
My mum. She talks about me more than I do!
What's the toughest lesson you've learnt in comedy?
It takes time. After a few gigs I thought I'd won at comedy. How I was wrong. I am still trying to find my feet and find what best suits me. It's a constant project, that is what I love about it.
What's the best advice you've ever been given?
Be you. There is no point going on trying to be the big thing of the moment. Why not instead do what you do, because no one else can do that.
Show us something fascinating on the internet about you. (That isn't your website/Twitter/'similar'.)
I love two things - postsecret.com (a thing where people send unnamed postcards of their deepest darkest secrets) and ifoundyourcamera.com (where people who have found a lost camera have uploaded that persons photos in hope they can have them back). [I mean that's not really about Brennan but never mind, let's move on...]
What is your guilty comedy pleasure?
You've Been Framed. It is still the funniest thing on TV!
Which other acts have you seen while gigging you recommend?
I imagine they don't need my recommendation but some things I adore are James Acaster, Alex Horne and last night I saw Liam Williams which was brrrrilliant!
What's the day job?
I do some teaching in a college. It's boring.
