This is my debut Edinburgh so I had to use the internet to find somewhere. The Macdonald Holyrood Hotel looked promising from the photos but upon visiting Trip Advisor I was horrified to discover the
following description…
“Unsure why a hotel would put guests above the wedding party! Music was going to be played till early hours of the morning it was so loud I could hear the words of the song!
"Informed the night manager we were given option to move rooms which after a long day at midnight was not an option for us! Our bed was 2 singles pushed together so all night I fell down the crack! How can they not provide a double room when it was booked months ago! Next day we upgraded rooms and I explained my dissappointment about the bed, anticipating an apology then or on check out. Nothing was mentioned the room upgrade was barely an apology for the stress of moving...
"Won't revisite this hotel again”
