Some choice new cuts and Nick Helm and Isabel Fay together, historically...
Like a cooler than Teeth of the Sea
From Harry 'Deansways' Deansway comes this guide to the internet from Brett Domino and Steven Peavis, who are either dressed as historical nerds or contemporary Dalston superstars. There's a SONG about the history of the internet from about 2:40 that is ruddy tremendous. (If you thought the 'guys' had been quiet lately, you'd be wrong. You just haven't been watching Blue Peter.)
Like a gurnier Ade Edmondson
Stuart Laws sent this in, as Matthew Highton and John Kearns go head to head in a park. Kearns looks a lot like Ade Edmondson when he gurns.
Also of interest, we bumped into 'something from the archives' of remarkable pertinence: online video's hottest properties du jour Nick Helm and Isabel Fay together in ONE VIDEO.
Like a hairier David Mitchell
David Mitchell's Soapbox is back, with a complaint about the Atkins diet. I don't want to disagree with David Mitchell, as that seems a dangerous road to go down, but it includes a weird rant about how bacon sandwiches wouldn't work without bread and butter. This is just plain wrong, because any fool knows you don't put butter in a bacon sandwich. Also: still getting used to the beard, that takes a while.
Like me in about 18 months
Goodness BBC Comedy are producing a lot of stuff from hotly-tipped acts at the moment. Idiots of Ants are among the acts this week, analysing the sheer horror of Embarrassing Dad, which having recently had a 'significant birthday' I can tell you is unavoidable as a lifestyle to accidentally drift in to. Over here, so it is.
Like everyone in American comedy
Taglined the Ultimate Teaser Trailer, this trailer for Comedy Bang! Bang! isn't lying, pulling in a solid two-dozen amazunt American comedy sorts including David Cross, Seth Rogen, Jack Black, Reggie Watts, Jon Hamm, Michael Sera and even Weird Al.
On a moderately-related note, the comedians in music videos feature we did which didn't work for ruddy ages has been FIXED, which is exciting.
