Tuesday news, kept nice and warm for you...
- Kevin Eldon has his own show on BBC Two! NOW BEFORE WE GET TOO EXCITED we should probably think back to the similar buzz that preceded Peter Serafinowicz getting his own often-excellent-yet-ultimately-underdeveloped-but-still-it-really-should-have-got-a-second-series-given-the-strong-foundations show. Six episodes, and gone forever. Still, cautious fingers crossed, it's Kevin Ruddy Eldon. SSP
- Chris Lilley is back on Facebook after an unfortunate incident which may or may not have involved his testicles. You know, I interviewed him once and he sounded like he was about ready to swallow his own tongue from reservedness. Always the quiet ones. SSP
- Danny Baker is writing the words for a new show from the Jim Henson Company. Guardian
- A blooper of Episodes has gone viral in Israel because of an English/Hebrew translation error. Things we need to do as a society: quantify 'going viral'. We'll get on it after breakfast. Guardian
- BBC Three have three potential comedy scenarios they are interested in, according to a document on Chortle. So what's going to save Beeb Three from its current comedy quagmire? 'A fashion-conscious teen and her gay brother are forced to move to a rural community and are horrified by what faces them.' AHAHA GAYS DON'T LIKE MUD. Great work, everyone. Chortle
- And our Top 100 is rumbling on: intro here, 100-81 here, top ten to watch here, and numbers 80-61 on the way later today...
