Misfits fifth series planned by E4
The Misfits have been allegedly commissioned for a fifth series – despite not having any of the original cast left in the show.
The cult E4 show which follows down-and-out teens who happen to inherit special powers will return for a new series after the finale of series four last night according to website Den Of Geek.
The fourth series has seen a number of new cast come in to replace original members Alisha, Simon, Kelly and Curtis. Not all the changes were welcomed by fans who believed that the show had been ‘ripped apart’ from it’s original core.
Critics also voiced their concerns for The Misfits series, which according to Den Of Geek had become too focussed on teen relationships than the crime-fighting supernatural vitriolic anger-management teens we all loved from the earlier episodes.
