Caitlin Moran has penned a pilot for Channel 4 on an overweight 16-year-old looking for a boyfriend.
The Big Object will be broadcast after some rewrites, said Channel 4's head of comedy Shane Allen, who also told yesterday's Guardian that the title "was chosen to be deliberately ambiguous".
A film adaptation of her mega-hit book How To Be A Woman is also in the pipeline, with Film Four.
Both are being made by Big Talk.
