It may not make the headlines in Hollywood but stand-up comedian Naz Osmanoglu has managed to pick up an award (unofficially) for the best Oscar spoof of 2011 after filming a fake acceptance speech and posting it on You Tube.
The comedian, who has become one of the most promising young talents on the comedy circuit after winning the Amused Moose Hot Starlet competition, managed to pick up the award for Best Actor ahead of Colin Firth.
Filmed for the comedy video portal Com Comedy the short clip sees Osmanoglu take to the stage to accept his gong for NOT The Kings Speech, before going on to conduct the most ungracious acceptance speech in Oscar history and plugging his show at the Albert Hall later this month.
If you want to catch Osmanoglu live he will be appearing at the Royal Albert Hall on March 16th alongside Doc Brown. For more information visit www.royalalberthall.com or call 0845 401 5045.
