Mr Bean Tops Box Office
It's Bean a hell of an earner
Mr Bean's Holiday has slapsticked it's way to the top of this week's international box office with takings of $33.3million.
The film topped the charts in 21 countries, beating off competition from rather less amusing epic 300. And it doesn't stop there, launching in 18 more countries next week and the USA at the end of what could be a rather fruitful summer for Rowan Atkinson.
The lovable idiot's capers have always exported well, mainly because lazy watchers don't have to read many subtitles to keep up with his escapades. However, according to Atkinson, this will be the final time Bean will line his rather deep pockets.
