Bill Bailey in Ape Appeal
'Hairy Hobbit' to Bail-out Endangered Species
Bill Bailey is to headline an event in support of the Sumatran Orangutan Society (SOS).
The self-dubbed "hairy hobbit" is taking time out of his hectic schedule of writing a new show, captaining a team on Never Mind the Buzzcocks and autographing items for auction on ebay, to do his bit for the endangered species, which, according to the latest UN report, could be extinct within 5 years.
The benefit gig takes place on 14 May at London's Lyceum Theatre, and boasts a star-studded line-up. Phil Jupitus will act as compere, and Kevin Eldon, Sean Lock, Simon Amstell and Stewart Lee are all due to appear.
