Plus, UKTV in repeat shocker!
Steve Coogan is making a series of comedy shorts for UKTV G2. The snippets will be shown during a weekend dedicated to the comedian's programmes on 10 and 11 March. The eight films will be shot in Brighton, East Sussex and are not only written by Coogan but also star the Manchester-born comedian.
The channel also asked Coogan to pick the comedies he would like to be included in the weekend, meaning that his favourite episodes of I'm Alan Partridge, and Coogan's Run will be aired alongside Saxondale. We know which we'll be watching...
Coogan said that he was proud to have his beloved characters screened again but cheekily pointed out that "they are also available on DVD in most outlets".
Thanks Steve.
