Winner of the So You Think You're Funny and BBC New Comedy Awards Tom Allen has a unique charm and a very sharp wit. He may look innocent and sweet but we've seen Allen deliver some fairly swift and crushing put-down's in our time. His latest shows at bthe Edinburgh Fringe have seen him take to the stage as a host of a chat-show rather than a comic, though he still performs regularly.
On screen Allen has appeared in Channel 4's Bleak Expectations, The BBC's Bleak old Shop Of Stuff and on Channel 4's TNT show as a presenter of his own Dictionary Corner.
