Some of the UK’s top comedy acts are set to perform fundraisers for the victims of the Haiti earthquake.

Two shows are set to appear in London next month to help raise funds for relief and reconstruction work in the Caribbean nation which was hit by a massive earthquake on January 13th.

The first show, which has been organised by the working-rights charity No Sweat, is set to see Robin Ince, Jeremy Hardy, Josie Long, Robyn Hitchcock, Hils Barker and Shappi Khorsandi head to the Cross Kings near Kings Cross on February 10th for a night of top stand-up.

More information is still to be announced but people interested can visit the Cross Kings website.

A second charity fundraisers set to hit London in February also promises an exceptional line-up including Bafta Nominee Peter Serafinowitz, Wingnut and The Penny Dreadfuls - with further acts to be announced. The show is set to take place on February 21st at Wilton’s Music Hall.

More information can be found on the group's facebook page here.

If you need a reminder of just how devastating the Haiti earthquake was, here's a great article on the BBC which shows exactly what the cost has been for the country.

If you know if another comedy gig in benefit of Haiti email tim@suchsmallportions.com and we'll add it to the list.
