Fearne Cotton, the DJ and former Top Of The Pops presenter is in talks to make a guest appearance in the hit comedy sitcom The Inbetweeners.

Cotton has approached the producers of the show to see whether it is possible to guest star in the final episode of the third series, which is filmed near to where Cotton grew up in Ruislip.

The Inbetweeners, which follows the lives of a group of sixth-formers, was recently named the 'Funniest Show on TV' at the Loaded Lafta Awards.

The third series of the show is set to air later this year.
