The Thames is once again set to be graced with the presence of a giant inflatable purple cow after the Underbelly launched its summer season on the Southbank earlier this month.

Ascerbic Australian comic Brendan Burns is set to make an appearance on May 16th while Canadian comic Glenn Wool is heading to the purple cow on 16 July for one night only.
The appearance of a giant purple cow on the Southbank is turning into something of an annual migration for the Underbelly, who have successfully expanded their run of shows from an six weeks back in 2009 to a whopping two and a half months now.
The line-up for the summer season in London includes Arthur Smith, Paul Daniels, Andrew Maxwell, Robin Ince, Richard Herring, Jason Byrne, Roy Walker and Wil Anderson.
Apart from the comedy on offer, the Underbelly is also set to show an world exclusive free-running show that has been created specifically for the Southbank as the festival's headline show.
